Exploring
the sound-world of the eighteenth-century, we are delighted to
welcome the young lutenist Matthew Wadsworth for Vivialdi's
unique duo concerto. Continuing the lute theme, there is an
opportunity to hear a rare combination of soloists in the
concerto by the Dresden court lutenist Sylvius Leopold Weiss.
Framing the these works is Handel, ebullient as ever, and music
by his Swedish pupil, Roman.
