Corelli at the Three Choirs Festival
The Corelli Orchestra will be appearing
as part of the Three Choirs Festival in Hereford in August
2006.

Cheltenham Festival 2006
‘A Scotsman in Paris’
Following on from the Corelli’s
Russian Coronations programme for the Cheltenham Festival last
year, we are delighted to be playing a specially-devised
concert featuring this year’s Scottish theme. ‘A
Scotsman in Paris’ explores the musical influences on the
Early of Kelly, pupil of Stamitz. The music will include music
dedicated by Stamitz to Kelly, a symphony by Kelly and other
music performed in Paris during the 1750s including Rameau,
Sammartini and Mondonville.
Cirencester Early Music Festival 2006
We are delighted to be visiting the
Cirencester Early Music Festival in 2006. Our programme will
include Scarlatti arranged by Avison and recorder concertos
played by the young recorder player Elizabeth Lester.
Ludlow Festival 2006
Music for a Country House: members of the
Corelli Orchestra will play a programme of mainly English music
on June 25. More details to follow.
