Warwick Cole  read Music at Brasenose College, Oxford.  As a harpsichordist, cellist, organist and pianist he has appeared with numerous orchestras at home and abroad, and has contributed articles for several musicological journals including the Musical Times, Early Music and the American journal Bach. He writes regularly for International Record Review

He completed his doctoral thesis on Bach’s ornamental notation in 2001 and is the founder and director of the Corelli Orchestra.

His playing has been described as ‘elegant’ (Birmingham Post), the most empathetic I ever heard’ (Opera Now), ‘formidable’ (Gloucestershire Echo).    By the latter paper he has also been awarded the accolade ‘world-famous’. He has recently become Director of Music at Christ Church, Cheltenham.

He has three small children and a wife who, between them, manage to keep him in touch with reality.
