Emma Kirkby is one of the world’s
formost exponents of 18th-century vocal music. She will be
singing Bach’s sublime cantata Ich habe genug and
will be joined by the Corelli’s principal oboist Mark
Baigent in Handel’s exciting duo aria from Berenice.
Each half of the concert opens with a
suite by Bach’s contemporaries Böhm and Stölzel,
newly arranged by Warwick Cole.
